Columbia High School Early College’s CTE program held a CTE Career Fair on Friday, April 8.

The event was well attended by students, with grades 4-13 participating, as well as businesses and recruiters. The gym was a steady stream of activity from morning until late afternoon.

Additionally, CTE teachers took the time to make themselves available to represent their programs and provide a snapshot of what students learn and what students do. “Having those tangible items helps the student visualize themselves in CTE classes and working in that field!” noted a Tyrrell County schools news release.
