Tyrrell Elementary School students are in for a treat! With the approval of Superintendent Oliver A. Holley, district accountability coordinator/EC compliance specialist Joyeria Brothers was able to secure a free kids meal pass to gift every student that attends TES courtesy of Texas Roadhouse #223 in Chesapeake, Va.

Texas Roadhouse in Chesapeake celebrated Easter this year by giving free kids meal passes to local churches, schools and community events. Brothers stated, “When I received the email, I could not let this opportunity go by without at least trying to get some passes donated to the wonderful students of our district. I had no idea I would get one for every child! This is amazing!”

Brothers presented the passes to the Dr. Wayne Talley, TES interim principal, on Friday, April 8. She was accompanied by Karen Clough, Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education chairperson, and Fannie Williams, interim director of human resources.
