For over 25 years, Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association volunteers have cleaned NC 12 shoulders during the statewide spring and fall litter sweeps.

This year, volunteers will gather on Saturday, April 23 at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building to collect trash bags and select portions of the road to pick up litter.

Volunteers who would like to participate but who can’t come on Saturday should call 252-987-2656 to register. Volunteers will have a week to complete litter pickup.
