Dare County employees recognized with service pins for years of service

Eight Dare County employees were recognized with a service pin presentation at the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting held April 4, 2022. Shown, from left, are Ronnie Gibbs, Gregory Padilla, Kenneth Randall, Emily Cunningham, Charles Lycett, Cara Basnight, Stephen Baum and Betsy Robinson.

Gibbs, equipment operator for the Sanitation Division of the Dare County Public Works Department, received a 10-year pin.

Padilla, deputy sheriff sergeant for the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, received a 25-year pin.

Randall, emergency medical technician – intermediate for the Dare County EMS Department, received a 25-year pin.

Cunningham, senior foreign language interpreter for the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Public Health Division, received a 10-year pin.

Lycett, director of the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Social Services Division, received a 10-year pin.

Basnight, income maintenance technician, Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Social Services Division, received a 20-year pin.

Baum, distribution field supervisor/water distribution for the Dare County Water Department, received a 10-year pin.

Robinson, public health nurse II – school, Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Public Health Division, received a 20-year pin.
