Stigma Stomp 5K set for Saturday; run or walk to help raise mental health and suicide prevention awareness

The second annual Stigma Stomp 5K will be held Saturday, May 14 at Currituck Community Park, located at 120 Community Way in Barco. The event starts at 8 a.m.

The Stigma Stomp 5K is organized by the Cooper family to honor Ronnie Joe Cooper Jr. Participants can run or walk to help raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

“Cars 4 Awareness” will also be on site with classic cars to enjoy looking at.
