John David Johnson, 62, of Elizabeth City, died May 5, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. He was born in Norfolk, Va. on September 28, 1959 to the late Warren Clinton Johnson and Rosa Lee Hunter.

Survivors include partner Beulah “Suki” Lassiter and her family. He was predeceased by brothers Jeffrey Lee Johnson and William Clinton Johnson; and Rosa’s husband Emory Leigh Hunter.
