Richard Coston Jr., 81, of Elizabeth City, died at home May 16, 2022 after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Michele, and grandchildren David, Amy and Ashley. He served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include wife Gene, children Renee Ciancio (Michael) and Matthew, four grandchildren two great-grandchildren.
