The Atlantic 5 All-Conference baseball and softball players have been named.

Bear Grass Charter dominated the conference in 2022 two spring sports.

In softball, Bear Grass players making first team are Madi Hall, who was the Pitcher of the Year, Emily Perry, Carsyn Briley, Macy Bowen and Alana Scott. On the second team are Faith Wisniewski, Addison Dotson, Kendal Furlough and Shelby Craddock.

For Cape Hatteras, named to the first team are Lily Ratliff, Emma Del Monte and Taylor Mabry and to the second team Casia Ensenat, Abby O’Neal and Shayley Ballance.

For Mattamuskeet, Kensley Cox was named to the first team and Heather Cox to the second team.

Columbia’s Destiny Harrison was named to the second team.

Cape Hatteras coach Tim Spruill was named the Conference Softball Coach of the Year.

In baseball, Bear Grass players named to the first team are Colin Langley, who is the conference Player of the Year, Bryce Carlisle, Dylan Caracoglia, Ty Price and Shane Lanier. Named to the second team are Michael Gurganus and Brayden Taylor.

Ocracoke players selected for the first baseball team are Daymon Esham, Jackson Strange and Chandler O’Neal. Max Elicker was named to the second team.

Cape Hatteras baseball players named to the first team are McCoy James and to the second team Ayden Paddock and River Lester.

Columbia Wildcats named to the second team are Eli Nicholson and Rexton Bauer.

For Mattamuskeet, baseball players Diego Beltran and Brayden Wayne were named to the second team.

Bear Grass baseball coach Matt Watson was named Coach of the Year.
