Joseph Clell Britt, 83, of Duck, died in Nags Head on May 16, 2022. He was born August 21, 1938 to Joseph and Mary Agnes (Riddle) Britt in Lumberton.

Joe is survived by son Jonathan Edward Britt (Lori Walker Britt); grandson William North Britt; and brother Leon Britt. He was predeceased by wife Barbara.

A private memorial service will be held at the Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens Cemetery on May 23.  Donations be made to OBX Baseball (www.obxbaseball.com), PO Box 1233, Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, 27949.
