Christopher Wade Ward, 34, of Elizabeth City, died May 24, 2022 at home. He was born October 20, 1987 to William Fletcher Lewis and Tammy Lynn Cooper Ward and was raised by his mother and adoptive father, David Ward.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by fiancé Courtney Davis; children Taylor, Caressa, Carmen, Brayden, Malachi and Jaxon; siblings Mckenzie Umphlett, Amber Ward, Jani Smith, Jessica Smith, Raven Lewis, Brandon Cox (Tamara), Matthew Umphlett, Hunter Ward (Nicole) and Johnathan Ward (Bobbie); his father’s wife Christi; his mother’s husband David; grandparents Colon and Kathy Cooper, Shirley Horne and Bill and Betty Lewis and other family.
