The Food Bank of the Albemarle, in partnership with Colington United Methodist Church, will visit to the parking lot of First Flight Elementary School in Kill Devil Hills on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 4:30-6 p.m.

Participants should not get out of vehicles when they drive up to the check-in area; a volunteer will approach to take information. Volunteers will then load groceries into the vehicle, so leave space for groceries to be loaded. If there is insufficient space, drivers will be directed to an area where to park and load their own groceries.

Food will be distributed to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency food assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.
