William A. Ross Jr., 88, of Kitty Hawk, died June 12, 2022 at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.

Bill was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He served honorably in the United States Army and United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include Kay Ross, children Daniel Ross, Peter Ross and Ann Schena; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and other relatives and close friends.

A mass of the resurrection will be held June 28 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer by the Sea Catholic Church in Kitty Hawk. Bill’s urn will be buried back home in St. James Cemetery in Haverhill, Mass. at a future time.
