Wanchese Christian Academy recognized Raegan Blackwell, the school’s graduate for 2022.

“With years of travel, considering the distance factor, Raegan has brought us joy, song and her sidekick brother daily to WCA,” stated a WCA announcement of her achievements.

It was noted that Blackwell has excelled in being an editor of the school’s yearbook publications for the past two years as well as sang at her own graduation and delivered a message of hope and inspiration.

“It has not been an easy high school experience skirting around world-wide pandemics,” stated the WCA announcement. “While working part-time throughout her high school years and taking dual enrollment classes through College of the Albemarle, this graduate is thinking to pursue her associate’s degree.”

“With dreams of eventually being on staff with her church and working the family business, Wanchese Christian Academy is keeping their eye on this graduate’s future and all that her hands are involved in,” the announcement continued. “Congratulations to this year’s solo graduate and the Class of 2022!”
