Dorothy “Dawn” McQuaid Felthousen, 92, of Southern Shores, died June 14, 2022 at home. Dawn was born January 27, 1930 in Buffalo, NY.

Survivors include brothers Ronnie and Peter, children Greg, Gary, Glenn, Kim (Sendzik) and Kris, 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Charles E. Felthousen, son Kurt and siblings Claudia (Doyle), JoAnn (Moore) and Jim.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Peter Decker Children’s Charity and/or to a First Tee Golf Program in your local community.

Celebration Mass of the Resurrection will be held July 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer By-the-Sea Catholic Church in Kitty Hawk. Private interment will be held July 18, 2022 at noon at Princess Anne Memorial Park in Virginia Beach.
