Friends, family and chamber members turned out in style to support owner Alverta Robinson on July 14. “We want to extend a special thank you to all who came out to support this business that meets a need in our community,” stated a press release from the Currituck Chamber of Commerce.

Robinson, founder and CEO of Family First In-Home Personal Care, LLC, has a bachelor’s prepared registered nurse with 31 years of experience caring for seniors as well as a certified RN case manager. With 33 years of marriage, three children (all graduates of Currituck High School) and two grandchildren, family is everything to Robinson. Caring for family is a priority.

“Family First provides high quality, affordable at-home concierge services to the senior citizen population in Currituck County and the surrounding counties,” stated the release. “As the population ages, there is a higher need for at-home care, and Family First is prepared to help fill that need by enabling seniors to preserve their independence in the comfort of the homes. Family First works hard to postpone the transition to retirement residences.”
