There is so much commotion going on outside my window. Birdsong is ever present! You might think I had flocks of birds, but it turns out to be two small birds that are having a boisterous conversation. I only know because they come to the feeder on the window above my desk. My goodness, such loud noises from such little birds. Seems as though a neighborhood cat is walking through and the birds are signaling there is danger on the horizon. They are giving it their all to alert their feathered friends nearby to be careful.

You know, we have had to deal with a virus for the last few years. Precautions, injections, masks and of course the isolation – so much was done to stay safe from the virus. This was a life-changing time for many folks to alter their lives under the banner of caution.

If only we would apply such dedication to our lives to protect our mind, our thoughts and our actions from negativity and darkness. The Bible says to keep our mind fixed on Him. We can’t go wrong with this instruction. There is so much discussion about climate change and pollution globally, but we must realize that many things today are polluting our individual minds and hearts. Be vigilant. Focus on Him. Sound the alert. If something feels wrong, it most likely is wrong. Put on the full armor of God each day! –Ephesians 6:10-17
