Norman Spencer Godfrey Jr., 72, died July 29, 2022. He was born to Norman Spencer Godfrey Sr. and Helen Quidley Godfrey of Perquimans County on February 27, 1950.
Survivors include wife Brenda Creef Godfrey, daughter Pamela Godfrey Pureza (David), two grandchildren, brothers Wayne Godfrey (Sherry) and Frankie (Godfrey) and other family and friends. Norman was predeceased by his parents.
Memorial donations may be made to The SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina at 102 Enterprise Drive, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
Celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on August 4 at New Day Church in Elizabeth City
