Outer Banks bowling leagues organizing for 2022-23 season

Five bowling leagues are now organizing for the 2022-23 season at OBX Bowling in Nags Head.

The leagues run from the Tuesday after Labor Day to around the end of April for 32 weeks of bowling. Time off is taken between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Organizing meetings will be held Aug. 22, 23, 25 or 31 with first night bowling in early September. Four leagues bowl in evening hours. One league on Tuesday bowls in the morning.

League schedules are:

Monday, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Rolling Fools Ladies League; four person teams with four ladies; organization meeting: Aug. 22, first night: Sept. 12; secretary: Paula Mohr 252-256-1041.

Tuesday, 10 a.m. to noon. Early Birds Ladies League; three person teams with three ladies; organization meeting: Aug. 23; first night: Sept. 6; secretary: Sue Hawley 252-202-3597.

Tuesday, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Ten Downers Mixed League; four person teams with at least one woman and one man; organization meeting: Aug. 23, first night: Sept. 6; secretary: Paula Mohr 252-256-1041

Wednesday, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday Night Keglers (WNK) Open League; four person teams with all combinations; organization meeting: Aug. 31., first night: Sept. 7; secretary: Paula Mohr 252-256-1041

Thursday, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Harbour Lites Mixed League; four person teams with two men and two women; organization meeting: Aug. 25; first night: Sept. 8; secretary: Sue Hawley 252-202-3597
