Olivia Schaperjohn and other singers from The Lost Colony presented an amazing performance showcasing a variety of songs from Broadway plays at a recent Harmony Café gathering.
“GEM participants were enthralled by the variety of tunes and the beauty of their voices,” stated a GEM press release. “The performance ended by singing Happy Birthday to Lee who will be 90 soon.”
Vickie Scheffler, of Spring Arbor, and her friends provided a sandwich lunch and the performers joined GEM participants in the meal. “We enjoyed their fellowship and caring hearts as they served beverages to the participants and shared stories,” stated the release. “The Lost Colony singers have been sharing their talent with GEM for over 14 years and we always look forward to them.”
