The Currituck Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced that Molly Garavito, director of marketing at Ciniva, has been named to an at-large seat on the board.

Garavito received her bachelor of arts degree in speech communication and minor in public relations from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She began her career in marketing working for various companies in and around the Philadelphia area and beyond. Her experience as a global marketing manager allowed her the privilege of working on highly successful global campaigns and making lifelong connections with her colleagues across several continents.

In 2016, Garavito’s husband Chris accepted a position managing 14 counties in northeast North Carolina, which brought the family to relocate to the coast, where they are still happily raising their three sons: Jack, 12, Max, 10, and Colin, 7.

Garavito joined Ciniva in 2021 and is responsible for managing several local and regional clients. She enjoys working with the Ciniva team on complex client strategies, campaign execution and website strategy, while developing relationships with clients.

When she is not busy working on marketing campaigns, digital campaigns and websites, she is cheering for her boys on a soccer or lacrosse sideline, volunteering as a soccer coach for one or all of her sons’ teams.

Garavito currently serves on the boards for OBX Storm, Outer Banks Youth Soccer Association, The Outer Banks Children’s Museum and was the former vice president and marketing and communications chair for the Kitty Hawk Elementary School PTA. In her downtime, she and her family enjoy going to the beach, traveling, playing soccer and surfing.

“Please join us in welcoming Molly Garavito as one of our newest board members,” stated the Currituck Chamber announcement.
