The community is invited to the Empty Bowls Event at Saint Andrew’s By-The-Sea on October 8 from 5-7 p.m.
Empty Bowls is an event to raise money for food-related charities to care for and feed the hungry in the community. All proceeds will help neighbors in need.
“Join us for food, fun, music, kid’s activities and our silent auction!” invites the event announcement.
Tickets are $20 and include a soup bowl to take home. A bowl of soup is $5. Tickets are available at Sunday services and by cash or check at the door. Seating is limited, so it is suggested to buy tickets early. Call 252-441-5382 for more information.
Saint Andrew’s By-The-Sea Episcopal Church is located at 4212 S. Virginia Dare Trail in Nags Head.
