Walter Henry Widmer, 71, of Manteo, died September 27, 2022 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Raffaella Burrascano and Walter B. Widmer.

Survivors include wife Patricia Campbell Widmer; sons Walter Charles Widmer and Michael James Widmer; stepson Edward Tomlin; two grandchildren; daughter-in-law Rhonda Sue Taylor and other family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother Henry Joseph Widmer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
