Meet the candidates running for the Dare County Board of Education on Wednesday, October 12 at Nags Head Elementary School’s multipurpose room at 7 p.m. The event is being held by the Dare County League of Women Voters.

This will be an opportunity to hear directly from Barry Wickre, Jessica Fearns, Ron Payne, Marie Russell and Matt Brauer.

Members of the public may submit questions for these BOE candidates in advance by sending them to lwvdare@gmail.com, along with your name and town, by October 10.  Audience members will also have an opportunity to submit questions during the event.

Immediately the forum, other Dare County candidates will participate in a meet and greet segment where audience members will hear brief statements from the candidates and have a chance to speak with them.
