Jasper Donnie Gamiel, 78, of Currituck, died October 21, 2022 at home.  He was born February 18, 1944 in Dare County to the late Jasper Robert Gaimel and Nancy Pearl Midgett Gaimel.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include wife Nancy Watson Gamiel; daughters Toni M. Hawkins (Nick) and Malissa J. Gamiel; son Jason D. Gamiel (Erin); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.

Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jasper’s name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, https://www.lbda.org/donate/.
