David Shook, of Johnson City, Tenn., died November 11, 2022 in Nags Head. He was born February 18, 1957, in Valdese. He was predeceased by parents Hubert Shook and Emma Jean Storey. David served in the USMC.

Survivors include wife Sherry, daughters Jessica Shook and Ashley Shook (Megan), stepson Todd Decker (Aspen), sister Lisa Shook and other family.

Services will be held November 19 at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Johnson City, Tenn.
