Susan West, of Buxton, died November 10, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on October 1, 1949.

Survivors include husband Rob West, mother Betty Jane Butler, brothers Billy Butler and Tommy Butler and other family. She was predeceased by father Thomas Butler.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation.
