Wanchese, NC – Joseph Wesley Daniels, 46, of Wanchese, NC died Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home.

Born in Portsmouth, VA on May 4, 1976, he was the son of Connie Powell Daniels and John Hubert Daniels.

Joseph worked as an electrician in the construction industry. A truly genuine person, he had a big heart, loved everyone he met, and was loved dearly by his family. Joseph was known for his great storytelling.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Rylan Daniels of Greenville and Tyler Daniels of Kitty Hawk; sister, Julia Daniels Rodriguez (Frank) of Manteo; brother, John C. Daniels of Wanchese; two nieces, Avery Daniels of Greensboro and Jordan Daniels of Wanchese; and nephew, Frank Scott-Rodriguez of Wanchese.

Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, JT and Betty Daniels; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Julia Powell; and two nephews, Casey and TJ Rodriguez.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one’s favorite charity. Cards may be mailed to Joseph’s parents at 109 Timber Ridge Ln, Hayesville, NC 28904.
