Pauline Silverthorne Credle, 104, of Rose Bay, died November 16, 2022 at Autumn Field Assisted Living in Belhaven.

Pauline was born in Scranton on May 1, 1918 to the late Samuel Caleb and Annie Dunbar Silverthorne.

She was predeceased by husband Sidney A. Credle and sister Rosalie S. Bridgman.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on November 19 at Scranton Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Credle Williams Family Cemetery in Swan Quarter.

Survivors include daughter Becky Sawyer (Dewey); son Charles Credle (Susie); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and other family.
