The mobile food bank will take place as usual on the second Thursday of November at the First Flight Elementary School in Kill Devil Hills. This month’s visit will be Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4-6 p.m.

When participants drive up to the check in, they should not get out of vehicles to register; a volunteer will approach and take information. Volunteers will then load everything into vehicles, so it is advised to leave sufficient room for groceries.

The mobile food program is available to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.
