The Currituck County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Historic Courthouse, located at 153 Courthouse Road in Currituck.

The meeting notice states the purpose of the meeting is to appoint two members to the Local Firefighter’s Relief Fund Board for Lower Currituck Volunteer Fire Department and to hold a closed session pursuant to NC G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3) to consult with the county attorney and preserve the attorney-client privilege in the matter entitled 85 and Sunny, LLC v. Currituck County.

Other matters typically considered at a regular meeting may also be discussed, noted the meeting announcement.
