The Dare County Public Services Department, which operates the Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills, the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center in Manteo and the Fessenden Center in Buxton, is currently seeking input from Dare County citizens in order to help better serve the older adult community of the Outer Banks.

The announcement from the county noted that the survey should take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete and asks citizens to provide their feedback regarding the local senior centers they visit the most frequently as well as the types of group events and trips they are most interested in, among other items. “Please note there may be a cost associated with group trips for which transportation is provided by the individual senior centers,” stated the survey announcement.
