Courtland H. Grimm Jr., of Avon, died January 22, 2023. He was born February 10, 1946 in Alexandria, Va.

Celebration of life will be held January 31 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church in Buxton. Donations may be made to Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church, PO Box 399, Buxton, NC or National Park Service Outer Banks Group, 1401 National Park Drive, Manteo, NC 27954, designated for the Cape Hatteras Light.
