OBX Storm U19 Riptides take home championship at the Beast of the East Tournament

The OBX Storm U19 Riptides girls soccer team competed in the Beast of the East Tournament the weekend of January 21 and 22 in Greenville and played their way through to take home the championship under Coach Jason Stevens.

“The majority of the Riptide players have been playing together for many years dating back to elementary school,” stated an OBX Storm press release. “Sadly, this is the last OBX Storm Tournament for a few of these players as they are finishing their Senior year and preparing for the Spring high school season.”

OBX Storm expressed congratulations to the Riptides on “this great win and to commend them on their continued hard work, dedication and teamwork.”
