The mobile food bank will take place at First Flight Elementary School in Kill Devil Hills on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4-6 p.m.

When driving up to the check in, do not get out of the vehicle to register. A volunteer will approach and take required information. Volunteers will then load everything into the vehicle; leave sufficient room for groceries to be loaded.

The mobile food program is available to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.

Dare County residency is required.
