Steven Douglas Palmer, 66, of Buxton, died February 3, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. He was born in Greenville, Pa. on January 12, 1957.

Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on February 11 at St John United Methodist Church, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hatteras Island Meals, Inc. (hatterasislandmeals.org) or Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation (hicf.org).
