The Outer Banks Daredevils have announced they will be returning to Coy Tillett Sr. Memorial Field, located on the Manteo High School campus, for the upcoming 2023 summer season. The Daredevils played their first 10 seasons at MHS before moving over to First Flight High School. Following the team’s pandemic-related hiatus, “we are extremely happy to be bringing the Daredevils back home to Manteo and its first-class facilities,” stated a team announcement.

The Daredevils will be competing in the Premier Collegiate League, along with former CPL rivals the Edenton Steamers, playing a 42-game regular schedule this summer. The season begins on June 1, 2023 and runs through the end of July, immediately followed by the league’s Postove Cup Championship Tournament, which will run through August 5, 2023.

“The Daredevils will be hosting 30 regular season home games this summer at Coy Tillett Field and look forward to seeing all our loyal fans back out at the ballpark this summer,” stated the announcement.
