William Joel Sutton, 64, of Kill Devil Hills, died March 20, 2023 at home. Joe was born in Alamance County and was a United States Navy veteran.

The family is honoring Joe’s directives for cremation. A private memorial gathering will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dare County Animal Shelter.
