The annual “Eastertide in the Gardens” event at The Elizabethan Gardens will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Picture-perfect spring blooms, green grass and hundreds of Easter eggs set the stage for this fun-filled family event.

“It’s a classic event with the beauty of the Gardens in the spring as the backdrop,” said Theresa Armendarez, executive director of The Elizabethan Gardens. “Guests may follow a map of the Gardens’ paths to gather eggs at designated ‘egg stations’ and enjoy live music, games and vendors on the Great Lawn.” Egg races and Easter bonnet contests – grouped by age for kids and adults – will be a highlight of the day.

Standard admission applies: adults $12 (ages 18 and older); youth $8 (ages 6 to 17); child $4 (ages 3 to 5); child free (2 and under); dog $5. All guests – members and not-yet-members – are encouraged to purchase online tickets in advance to this often-sold-out event. Oak Circle Gardens members may select this spring event to receive eight free passes. Tickets and additional information are available online at elizabethangardens.org.
