May 31 – Pickling

This class will focus on making quick pickles and preserving them utilizing a water bath canner. We will also discuss how to safely use other methods of pickling and processing for pickled products.

June 6 – Salsa

We will prepare a vegetable salsa and process it in a water bath canner. I will provide you with other recipe recommendations as well but this recipe is a great way to supplement your garden produce with other locally grown products.

We have additional classes coming to include pressure canning and dehydration.
