Jack Ernest Davenport, 60, of Columbia, died May 28, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. He was born in Tyrrell County on March 21, 1963.

Funeral service was held June 2 with burial in the Maitland Cemetery in Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Washington-Tyrrell County EMS PO Box 96, Plymouth, NC  27962, with “Tyrrell County EMS” noted in the memo, or to the Tyrrell County Sheriff Department PO Box 178, Columbia, NC 27925.
