The local Guardian ad Litem program is seeking volunteers to “be a voice for a child.”
“We can’t control where abused and neglected children come from, but we can have something to do with where they end up by becoming a Guardian ad Litem Program volunteer,” stated a press release from the North Carolina Judicial Branch District #1 Guardian ad Litem Division. “If you’ve been trying to think of a way to give back to your community, now’s the time to make a difference in the life of an abused and neglected child. No specific education or experience is required to volunteer for this program; only a true desire to ‘Be A Voice for a child in the Community.’”
Contact the local program to learn more at 252-331-4562 or visit volunteerforgal.org.
“Every abused or neglected child deserves to have their voice heard in court!” noted the release.
