The Dare County Unit of North Carolina Retired School Personnel is preparing to celebrate the coming holiday with a luncheon at noon on December 6, at Three Tequilas Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills.

Each year, the group’s festivities include donations of food and funds to a favorite food pantry.

Those who are retired teachers, staff members or bus drivers from any state are welcome and encouraged to join with the group at their meeting for fun and camaraderie.

“Hope to see you on Wednesday,” invited organizers.
