The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Outer Banks has announced that Andrew Godreau, a well-respected yogi on the Outer Banks, will lead meditations on Monday mornings at 8:30 a.m. for anyone wishing to join. Sessions will run approximately 45 minutes at the UUCOB meetinghouse, located at 831 Herbert Perry Road, on the corner of Herbert Perry and Kitty Hawk Roads. There is no charge, but donations are strongly recommended, noted the UUCOB announcement. All are welcome.

“Over the past 15 years, Andrew’s practice has been nurtured by many influences including extended residences at the Satchidananda Ashram in Virginia as well as the Integral Yoga Institute in New York,” stated the announcement. “As a passionate student of Yogic philosophy, Andrew is thrilled to share his deeper understanding of the many limbs of yoga beyond hatha and how to incorporate those into daily life as well. He hopes to hold space and aid growth for anyone on the yogic path regardless of their previous experience.

“The UUCOB is honored that Andrew is sharing his practice, knowledge, and deep sense of peace with the Outer Banks community in such a generous and open way.”
