Humphrey Hardy Gillam Jr., 69, of Wanchese, died August 5, 2024 at ECU Health Center in Greenville. Hardy was born April 28, 1955, in Windsor.

Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on August 12 at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo; friends and relatives will be received one hour prior. Memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County Animal Shelter (tricountyanimalshelternc.com) or the Outer Banks Special Olympics (sonc.net/local-programs/dare-county).
