Jule Elizabeth Bowden Eason, 94, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2024 at the Spring Arbor of Outer Banks, NC. Jule was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and friend.

She was born on November 13, 1929 in Isle of Wight County, VA to the late George T. Bowden and Julia M. Bowden. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph P. Eason; son, Joseph P. Eason Jr.; brother, George T. Bowden Jr.; sister, Jane Jones Baker; and son in law, David M. Peters.

She retired from the New Carrollton Library in New Carrollton, MD and was an active member of The Ark Church of Nags Head.

Jule is survived by daughter, Cynthia Eason Peters of Kingsport, TN; granddaughter, Tiffany P. Jones and her husband, Chris; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery in Isle of Wight County, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Nags Head Fire & Rescue, PO Box 99, Nags Head, NC 27959 or Ark Church of Outer Banks, PO Box 668, Nags Head, NC 27959.
