This three-cub black bear family in an Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge field looks almost like a watercolor painting. The lighting, the soft-tone colors and the bear positions, it’s all very peaceful and posed looking, noted USFWS.
Bear mothers typically give birth to between one to three cubs.
There have been four and five cub families on Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in the past decade, but that size black bear family is rare.
