If you have a thirst for information about water, the Dare County Water Department’s very own Professor Faucet is back with a new look and a quest to quench your need for knowledge.

Each month, Professor Faucet will ask a question for inquiring minds. The following month, a new question will be asked and the answer to the previous month’s question will be provided. Dare County water customers will have a two-week period after each quiz is published to submit answers to the Dare County Water Department for a chance to win a Dare County Professor Faucet t-shirt.

In this campaign, readers can expect to see Professor Faucet – never without his surfboard-turned-lab kit – switch between his everyday persona to his hero persona to battle water issues, water myths and provide expertise for those who seek to learn about all things water.

With water quality and safety being of such importance in Dare County, Professor Faucet and his team of water wizards at the Dare County Water Department will always answer the call.
