The Avon Volunteer Fire Department has donated its 2003 F350 utility truck to Stumpy Point Volunteer Fire Department.
Stumpy Point volunteers will be putting the donated truck in service as a brush/utility fire truck, replacing their 1986 brush unit.
The Avon department replaced its utility earlier this year with a 2023 F350. Utility units are multifunctional vehicles that play a key role in every fire department.
