Gerald “Jerry” Pontes

Gerald Pontes, of Kill Devil Hills, died October 18, 2024 after a long, hard fight. Jerry was born November 18, 1955 in Waukegan, Ill.

Celebration of life will be held November 30 at his home at 1903 S. Croatan Hwy. from 1-4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Surfrider Outer Banks Chapter, PO Box 2331, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948; North Carolina Watermen United, PO Box 536, Hatteras NC 27943; or support the local EMS workers.
