The Outer Banks Chorus welcomes all to its holiday concerts, “Gettin’ In The Mood For Christmas!”

“This year, we’re pulling out all the stops to bring you an unforgettable holiday experience!” noted the event announcement.

This year’s performance features festive favorites like “Carol of the Bells” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” as well as stunning works by renowned composers Molly Ijames, Eric Whitacre and Craig Courtney. The chorus will also be joined by Tom Ullom (percussion) and Dave Kreiselman (saxophone)

Concert schedule:

December 14 at 5:30 p.m. — College of The Albemarle Performing Arts Center, Elizabeth City, featuring the Pasquotank High School Choir

December 15 at 4 p.m. — David E. Oaksmith Auditorium, First Flight High School, Kill Devil Hills, featuring the First Flight High School Choir

The Outer Banks Chorus is under the direction of Kyle Cook, accompanied by Barry Ambrose, and supported by the community. Admission to both performances is by donation.

Bonus performance will be held December 21 at The Elizabethan Gardens.

“Join us for a holiday celebration filled with music, joy, and community spirit,” stated the announcement. “Let’s make this season unforgettable — together!”
